This was not what I was expecting. The premise was really intriguing, a travel agency that specializes in time travel. I really enjoy science fiction books so this sounded really interesting. However while time travel does play a part in this novel it's not the main focus of the book. Instead the story is far more about grief and regret and relationships. It was not really my usual thing but it is well written although I do agree with another reviewer that the plot did seem to slow a bit in the middle before picking up again towards the books conclusion. The three storylines start separately before converging and it's a well written book just not quite what I was expecting. Thank you to the author, the publishers and to Netgalley

Book Review: Renegade Demon which is book one in the Primal Payne series by Louis Park

 Hello you, Two reviews in one day, I have been reading a lot recently. This review is on  Renegade Demon which is book one in the Primal Payne series by  Louis Park   No wonder Dick Payne has problems! Our protagonist is a bit dysfunctional to say the least but he certainly is fun. Its a comedy horror romp and is a very well written book, and revolves around Dick and his fairly ordinary life until he meets a wizard and that's where things really take off. It is a fun filled dark comedy that really hovers around the line and is not afraid to go too far.   There is a lot of coarse language in this book and some low brow jokes and if that is something that bothers you then maybe steer away from this one however I look forward to the next works in this series.  Book Review. And He Shall Appear by Kate van der Borgh A haunting novel, perfect for fans of dark academia. A tale of a friendship with a slice of obsession. It alternates between two time periods and does that really well. The characters are interesting and well written and they develop through the novel. Its a tricky one to categorize without giving too much away, An enjoyable read perfect for a dark winters night. Thanks to the publishers and to Netgalley for this ARC.
