The Defence by Rob Rinder

I have read and really enjoyed all of Rob Rinder‘s previous books so was very happy to see the return of Adam Green in this latest book. Green is tasked with defending the man accused of the murder of an MP turned fitness Guru at a glitzy launch event. As in most murder mysteries there are plenty of twists along the way. It’s good to see how Rinser continues to develop the character of Green and the book is really well paced and plotted. Thoroughly recommend this book if you like murder mysteries.

Book Review. And He Shall Appear by Kate van der Borgh

 Book Review. And He Shall Appear by Kate van der Borgh A haunting novel, perfect for fans of dark academia. A tale of a friendship with a slice of obsession. It alternates between two time periods and does that really well. The characters are interesting and well written and they develop through the novel. Its a tricky one to categorize without giving too much away, An enjoyable read perfect for a dark winters night. Thanks to the publishers and to Netgalley for this ARC.

 Hello you, Well, it has been quite a while since this little blog of mine was updated. Life gets in the way I suppose. I will be returning to it again in the coming days and months.
